Radio Station ZCO
Poetry and music by Talo Lakepa Fulivai
English translation by Professor Hūfanga Dr ‘Ōkusitino Māhina
1. Radio station ZCO of Nuku‘alofa
Broadcasting house of Tonga Islands
The attraction of class of poets
The place where they rival
About the feats of the knight
2. It sounds like breaking waves
Of iron trees in dew-falling nights
Alas! It‘s the sacred nose-flute
The harp of Fangatapu
Putting the monarch to sleep
3. In gratitude for the nation-building
That the Friendly Isles long last
For the cross is still flying
A true testimony to the best
God and Tonga are my heritage
Chorus:
Now, we dance and make merry
Let‘s sojourn along Tahileka Road
And view the glass house
Seeing the beauty of the land
