Public Talk on Refined Ancient Tongan Cultural Heritage in European and British Museums
In celebration of the 2015 Tongan Language Week in Aotearoa NZ [August 30 – September 5th] the Culture-‐and-‐Language-‐of-‐Tonga Education, Art & Development Trust warmly invite all members of the Tongan community and interested public to a free talk about a recent trip by the speakers to several major European and British Museums.
The speakers look forward to sharing their images and experiences of viewing 18th century Tongan treasures collected by early explorers like Captain James Cook and Alessandro Malaspina.
