A Chinese Doctor provided free service at Vaiola Hospital
17 August, 2016. Nuku’alofa-On 15-17 August, visiting medical experts from Guangdong, China have been working together with Tongan doctors to provide medical service to the locals in Vaiola Hospital.
The delegation consists of officials from Guangdong Health and Family Planning Commission and 9 doctors from various departments, including cardiologists, dentists, endocrinologist, acupuncturist.
During the visit, Guangdong health officials also had fruitful meetings with senior officials from Tongan Ministry of Health and discussed about future cooperation between two sides regarding personnel training and capacity building.
The delegation is jointly organized by Guangdong Foreign Affairs Office and Guangdong Health and Family Planning Commission.
