11 October 2023. A police raid on Monday, 9 October 2023 at Tu’atākilangi resulted in the arrest of four men identified to have been distributing illicit drugs in the community.

1 October, 2023. Police, on Tuesday night, 26 September 2023, arrested and detained a security guard from one of the bars in town for selling cannabis during his work shift.
