Couple arrested with methamphetamine in Kolofo'ou Featured
16 April, 2019. The Police Drug Enforcement Taskforce arrested a couple on Monday morning 15 of April 2019 with illicit drugs and cash at a Motel in Kolofo’ou.
The couple, a 37-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman from Ma’ufanga who were arrested with 7 packs of methamphetamine (2.12 grams) and cash, are remanded in police custody to appear at the Magistrate Court at a later date.
“I wish to thank members of the community who continue to assist Police through timely sharing of information. I actively encourage people to contact Police to let us know about those involved in the supply of drugs, this will contribute to keeping our communities safe,” says Deputy Commissioner Vaisuai.
