Three more drugs dealers arrested at Ngele'ia Featured
23 November, 2018. Tonga Police Drugs Enforcement Taskforce executed a search warrant at a residence in Ngele’ia early morning Wednesday 21st of November, where they arrested three (3) people with 75.44 grams (100 packets) of cannabis.
The suspects, a 31-year-old and a 22-year-old men both from Ngele’ia and a 18-year-old woman from Fahefa were arrested with the illicit drugs already packed ready for distribution.
Police Dogs were also deployed during the search.
Acting Chief Superintendent Tevita Vailea says that Police will continue to work with the community to prevent the harm illicit drugs cause and the ongoing criminal activity associated with their use.
“We encourage anyone who may have information about drug related offending to contact their nearest Police station, or ring 23417 or 922.”
All three suspects are in police custody to appear at the Fasi magistrate Court on Tuesday 27th November 2018.
