Report from Tonga Police stated that a search and rescue operation is underway for a missing fisherman from Nukunuku who was reported missing by member of his family on Wednesday 13 May around 7 pm in the evening.

The Tonga Police 14th Contingent to the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands (RAMSI) are back home for a 3 week break after a six months of deployment in the Solomon Islands.
