“ Since becoming PM, Pohiva suffered from a disease called "selective hearing" and no amount of battering and complaining can make him hear the people. He invented the disease anyway. But that is the order of the day in this government - be selective in everything, who to be accountable to, who to appoint, who to promote, who to acknowledge etc etc etc. Merit, honesty and integrity have no place in Tonga today. You have to be family, relative, business partner, a crook, a con men, immoral, unethical, unprofessional, undemocratic etc. to be counted in the PM's book. They have relegated the once prestigious PMO to a fools den, where the master-fool and his son control everything. The Ministry of Education has become their playground where the other son and his business partner experiment with our children like lab rats.
So pathetic. A former PMO employee who was once in the inner circle lamented that "the PM just doesn't have it; he was not cut out to be a leader" ....... very sad. He has reached what he has been craving for for three decades, and he is making the biggest mess ever to be seen in this country. It's time now to hang up your boots PM and walk home in dignity. ”
