“ I had a similar experience where I was taken aside at immigration in Europe some twenty plus years ago because of my Tongan passport, and subjected to 6 hrs of interviews to test the authenticity of my Tongan identify. To compound matters, my name has a Chinese like spelling (three letters first name) - in addition to being Asian in appearance. I was asked to describe the Tongan flag, provide the then King's name, and spell the name of the capital before they were convinced I was a genuine Tongan at that stage, very angry, very late to an important event, and very tired. I was later informed that they were looking for Asian criminal syndicates with Tongan passports. ”
