Police continues to seize Liquor from Black Market

27 February, 2023. Police on Friday, 24 February 2023 confiscated more alcohol being sold unlawfully from a residence at Ngele’ia.

More than 250 cans/bottles of various alcohol beverages were seized.

The owner, who has been charged with Operating a Business without a Licence as well as Selling of liquor without a licence will appear in the Magistrate Court tomorrow, Tuesday, 28 February 2023.

“Tonga Police will continue to target and enforce the law with respect to alcohol as this is one of the main drivers of crime and policing demands.”
