Stolen White Toyota Wish Car Found
17 February 2022. Police investigations into the stolen white Toyota Wish Car C37740 last seen on Boxing Day last year at the roadside beside ANZ Bank in central Nuku’alofa have been successful.
The vehicle, when found, was already dismantled and its various parts were located and seized by Police on Monday, 13 February 2023 from two different houses, one at Vainī and the other at Holonga.
An official from the Ministry of Infrastructure has confirmed the engine number to be that of the stolen car.
A suspect has been arrested by Police in relation to the incident and Magistrate Salesi Mafi has ordered to keep him in Police remand until Monday, 20 February 2023.
Police investigations into this matter continue.
