“ This is an example of what can go terrible wrong, when your mind is not on what your doing. The member for the two Niua's was found guilty and ordered to pay $TP 300.00 . His crime ? not fully disclosing his expenses whilst campaigning to represent the two Niua's .He's not the first one to do so , and he won't be the last one ,found lacking in his responsibility to fill out correctly.ballot papers .Look! let's not jump to conclusion oversea's this kind of thing happen , and depending whether it was done deliberately or an honest mistake ,is a matter for the court to decide. In this case , the decision been made GUILTY pay$TP300.00 and be done with .Here the fun start's ! it's now up to the Premier and the HOUSE to find the one to cast the first stone. .Should the member be now expelled from the HOUSE in disgrace ? or be reprimanded , and everybody get on with the business of running the country , after all he didn't commit a heinous crime did he.? That does not absolve him or anyone in responsible position for the mistake he or they made . What ever the outcome to this fiasco will be, we will have to see .DO THE CRIME, PAY THE TIME . ”
