Australian volunteers ready to take up assignments in Tonga Featured
Nuku'alofa, 19 May 2016. The Australian High Commission has welcomed five new Australian Volunteers for International Development and partners to Tonga.
The Australian Volunteers for International Development arrived this week and are participating in their induction to Tonga.
The volunteers will spend the next 12 - 18 months working in Tonga.
The volunteers will take up assignments with the Mango Tree Centre, Waste Authority Limited, Tonga Swimming and Aquatics Association, Ministry of Revenue and Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Forestry and Fisheries.
