Is Tonga's political status as a democratic government realistic or not ?..Transparency and Accountability are two of the most popular words used by this Prime Minister and his government but is it true ?..This Prime Minister is the most outspoken critic of previous governments before his own in most issues but why now that he can't stand and accept people's views and opinions regarding his government ?.. With all the reshuffling and appointments of the Prime Ministers obedient party members of the PTOA to high government posts we can all see where we are heading..solidifying his position with these moves is common in most government but is it the right people ? or is it just obedient "yes Prime Minister people " like what he said why he chose his PA and Adviser ,without any guts to voice out their views.
Our rights to express our opinions and views as stated in the Constitution is being challenged in this government like previous government . But what amazes me is how come this government is not accepting the very tool they used to bombard previous government before...Is this democracy or we are moving to a one party system ( Communism , Dictatorship etc ) which controls everything even our rights to express our views. For a politician complaining about the press is like a captain complaining against the sea..you just can't help it..
